Atletico Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente insists now isn't the time to consider a changing of the guard within the Spain setup.

After Spain's World Cup shootout defeat to Morocco, it's been claimed coach Luis Enrique and captain Sergi Busquets will be ending their international careers.

Asked about the pair, Llorente said: "It doesn't concern me. This is not the time to think about that, it's time to unite.

“The important thing is the national team and not me.

"It is a difficult night and one that serves as an experience for the future with a very good and young group. This is going to toughen us up and we have to continue."

He added, “Penalties are what you have. You play a great game, you don't hurt your opponent, you draw on penalties and they have won the game."
