Atletico Madrid are willing to extend Joao Felix's loan at Chelsea into next season.
The Portugal striker arrived in January in a deal which did not carry a permanent option.
While Chelsea will not qualify for Europe this term, Felix is happy to stay in London. As such a new loan is set to be discussed, with all parties happy with the situation, says The Sun.
Atletico do not want to lose the player, though coach Diego Simeone doesn't see him in his immediate plans for next season.
Felix, meanwhile, is settled in London and happy to stay but wants assurances from the incoming permanent boss - expected to be Mauricio Pochettino - that he will get game time.
With that and with Chelsea reluctant to pay the full asking price for Felix, a compromise second loan is likely.
