Atletico see the English born and raised Poland international as the ideal replacement for Kieran Trippier after his sale to Newcastle last month.

The Sun says Atletico expressed interest in Cash over January and are maintaining their interest.

The defender has a deal to 2025 with Villa.

And the Villans would be prepared to send Cash away on-loan next season with the option to buy - an arrangement which suits Atletico.
