Griezmann failed to make the shortlist for FIFA's The Best award this week.
"It's been a long time since this type of prize interested me because it should be a prize on merit, it seems unfair that they do not give it to goalkeepers and defenders," began Kiko.
"It's obvious that looking at Griezmann's numbers it is incredible that he is not among the three finalists.
"Griezmann is an example for young people because of his work and for the effort he makes in each game on the pitch, he is often closer to (Jan) Oblak than to the rival goalkeeper, but he also scores goals afterwards. Looking at it, it's unfair."
