After helping Brazil win the Copa America, Luis is set to consider his club options having come off contract with Atleti last week.
He told Marca: "The first thing I'm going to do is go to Atlético, talk to them, see what the club needs or not. See the players they choose for the future. So I'm going to have to make a difficult decision, but I have to take it. I have offers and I will accept them with difficulty. I hope to make the best decision, keep a cool head.
"At Atletico, it's been 8 years, I have the duty to talk to them, and from there, we'll see. I am from Flamengo since my childhood. Flamengo is in a period when they are very competitive and are fighting for everything. The biggest decision is to stay in Europe or return to Brazil, play the Champions League in Europe, the biggest competition in the world, or choose to return to the country.
"Offers from Flamengo? I did not mention the possibility of joining Flamengo because I made it clear that I wanted to devote myself to the Copa America first and not to disrespect the Selecao. But it's a spectacular club and the Maracana is a spectacular stadium. In the next few days, I hope to make a decision."
