Atletico Madrid have been fined for anti- Antoine Griezmann chants earlier this season.

LaLiga has fined Atletico €12,000 after the chants from their fans aimed at Barcelona striker Griezmann.

They had sung 'Die Griezmann,' when the teams clashed on December 1 in Madrid. Barcelona won the game 1-0.

It was considered a 'grave' offence and that means the fine had to be between 6,001 euros and 18,000. The Wanda Metropolitan stadium will not face any closures though.

Barcelona next face Atletico at the end of April, at Camp Nou.
