Atletico Madrid are in the market for a new fullback signing this summer.

Their first-choice is former Valencia defender Juan Bernat, currently unsettled at Bayern Munich.

And Cadena SER says an alternative is Celta Vigo's Spain U21 fullback Jonny, who is about the enter the final 12 months of his current deal.

Jonny is attractive to Atletico coach Diego Simeone due to his versatility - the defender can play on both sides of a back four.

Simeone particularly wants to strengthen his left-back options after struggling without Filipe Luis for a large chunk of the second-half of this season.
