Atletico Madrid have launched an academy in Israel.

A partnership has been struck with Hapoel Be'er Sheva which will allow them to strengthen their team with products from the academy.

The two clubs will collaborate and Sunday saw them present their agreement publicly with a PR photograph being released which included president of the Israeli club, Idan Ofer, and Atletico Madrid's CEO, Miguel Angel Gil.

"The main objective is to be open to all kinds of religions and cultures," Gil explained.

"We hope to integrate all people into a common project that is based on the values of sport."
