The future of Atletico Madrid defender Sime Vrsaljko remains clouded ahead of the summer market.

The Croatia international penned a new deal to 2022 just last month, but is attracting major interest from Italy.

Tuttosport says Inter Milan and Roma are both keen on Vrsaljko, who joined Atletico from Sassuolo.

Both Serie A giants are expected to test Atletico's resolve with major offers for the defender at the end of the season.

However, they will face a battle from Atletico coach Diego Simeone, who now regards Vrsaljko as a first-choice.
