Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone has welcomed their Champions League quarterfinal tie against RB Leipzig.

Simeone insists the clash will be an even affair.

"You'll always meet good teams at the quarter-final stage and that the case here," Simeone said.

"They've been having a great season as they've competed right at the top of the Bundesliga.

"They play very offensively and with great speed.

"I'm sure it'll be a competitive match, with each team having a 50 percent chance of progressing.

"We'll prepare as well as we can."
