Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone was coy today when asked if Antoine Griezmann was wrong to leave last summer for Barcelona.

Griezmann wasn't seen until the 91st minute against his former club for Tuesday night's 2-2 draw.

Asked to comment, Simeone repeated his immediate post-match reaction: "I have no words."

It was then put to Simeone if Griezmann was wrong to leave, he replied: "I don't want to be disrespectful to the answer. At the moment we are playing a lot in this season finale and that point is not important for us today."

One journalist also asked, "As a driver of the Atlético truck, have you ever had to apologise to a player for taking him out alone in the final minutes?"

Simeone replied, “I don't drive a truck, I drive a team of footballers who work for a major club like Atleti. In our team, three minutes are decisive, we lost a Champions League final in three minutes and for me they are very important."
