Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone is reluctant to discuss the future of Diego Godin.
The defender is expected join Inter Milan this summer.
"I don't think it would be right to speak about his situation in his place," he said.
"We love him a lot, he gives us a lot in life and in football.
"Professionally he's faultless, we're proud of him as our captain and it's fairer for him to speak about what's going to happen."
Godin might be one of a few players to leave this summer and, though others will likely arrive, the coach acknowledges that it won't quite be the same.
"After having a relationship for seven years with players it won't be the same," he admitted.
"But time will allow things to grow and we have to be prepared to work with whoever is here."
