Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone says he's willing to remain in charge next season.
Simeone was speaking after their 3-0 win against Osasuna, which has seen Atletico return to second-place ahead of Real Madrid.
He said, "I think Atlético responded to those kids who came with their parents to a full stadium.
"When we have a fortress at home, the team grows. In November we were in the clinic, a doctor came and said that we were almost dead. We worked every day, looking for what we could do… We worried about what we could improve. The boys followed us and the doctor told us that we are still alive.
"I have one more year on my contract, and it is closely linked to continuing in the Champions League or not.
"As we do every year, we will talk with (Andrea) Berta, Enrique (Cerezo) and Miguel Ángel (Gil Marin) and we will look for the best for the team."
