Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone had mixed emotions after their 3-0 win over Alaves.

Nikola Kalinic, Antoine Griezmann and Rodri scored the goals for Atletico.

"They are doing an enormous job," he said of his players' efforts.

"There aren't many of us, so it's not easy to compete and to win and to win and to win again, as Luis Aragones used to say.

"We need to live with the situations that come up for us.

"I hope that Lucas' injury is as short as possible.

"[Diego] Godin and Filipe [Luis] are already ready to return, although [Stefan] Savic will miss out through suspension against Club Brugge.

"Some come back and some go out, but at least they're not all out at the same time."
