Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone has resisted approaches from Premier League clubs.

The Mirror says Simeone has snubbed Arsenal and Chelsea in favour of staying at Atletico Madrid.

The two London clubs are set to appoint new managers this summer after difficult seasons.

And the Atletico boss has been sounded out by intermediaries as to whether he would be interested, more specifically in Arsenal.

However, it is said Simeone has made it clear he is not leaving Atletico, who Arsenal coincidentally play in the Europa League semi-final first leg on Thursday.
