Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone is adamant there's great room for improvement in his young team.

Atletico are well placed for a title push this season.

And Simeone says, "Of course, we can already see how players have improved since last season. We are working better out on the pitch, we are playing more as a team and that's quite clear to see.

"We need everyone, from Felipe, who last season was playing more regularly, from Lodi, who I am sure is going to be important for us and Kondogbia who is gradually entering the team, Saúl is close to his best form, Correa has come on amazingly well, and that's not to speak of João Félix and the enthusiasm which Costa showed when he came on. All of that makes me feel enthusiastic, because I can see that they want to achieve something big but by taking one game at a time."
