Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone is delighted with the preseason form of Joao Felix.

Joao Felix impressed yet again for Atletico Madrid on Saturday evening as they saw off Juventus and Simeone was left understandably delighted by his Portuguese sensation.

"He played a very good game, he's very capable and is adapting very fast," Simeone said afterwards.

"Wherever you put him, he sees the game well.

"The best thing about him is that he wants to lear and when this is the case, adaptation is always shorter."

Arriving as a frontman but operating a lot on the wing, it remains to be seen what his main role in the team will be going forward.

"He'll play as much as he deserves," the coach added when asked about precisely what role he would have.

"He's working very well to not look his age, and what happens on the pitch shows."
