Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone is being discussed at Manchester United.

While PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino is regarded as favourite to replace the sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Old Trafford, Simeone also has his fans inside the club.

The Independent says the Argentine is rated highly by vice-chairman Ed Woodward.

Indeed, Woodward regards Simeone as the best choice to replace Solskjaer, though accepts any move at this stage is unlikely.

Simeone has a deal with Atletico to 2024.
