Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone has confirmed a deal for Lyon striker Moussa Dembele is close.

Atletico are wrapping up a deal for the Frenchman, who will arrive to fill the void left by Diego Costa after he was released from his contract.

Simeone said, "It is not yet confirmed, yes very advanced.

"I am going to focus myself on the game that interests me tomorrow and when he is here, if he does, I will give my opinion."

Ahead of facing Sevilla tonight, Simeone also confirmed Kieran Trippier's availability after his world-wide betting ban was suspended by FIFA last week.

"He is very good, eager to play, committed as always. Sime (Vrsaljko) is also competing very well with other characteristics and tomorrow we will decide," he added.
