Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone insists assistant manager Mono Burgos will make an announcement over his future when he is ready.
Burgos took charge of Atletico's 3-1 win over Villarreal with Simeone suspended, but the former goalkeeper has so far refused to enter new contract talks with Atleti.
"German and I have known each other for 24 years. We know each other too well," Simeone said in his post-match press conference.
"We know what we want as a working group, we have been lucky enough to win every time he has been in charge and he's a winner.
"He transmits this feeling of calmness, completely the opposite to me, but with that winning energy.
"I've already explained that when German has to give an explanation about a personal decision, he will do it."
