Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone and son Giovanni have been the victims of a robbery.

While enjoying their meal, the robbery took place at the hotel Cholo was staying at, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Italian police are now investigating a 10,000 euro robbery that occurred in Genoa, where Simeone was meeting his son Giovanni for dinner, having recently joined the club from River Plate.

The events took place on August 22 while the family were at a restaurant named 'Dindi', according to Genova Post and Il Secolo XIX.
