Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone was impressed by a dogged Espanyol for their 0-0 draw.

He was impressed by the defensive work of Espanyol, a team that has now kept a clean sheet in their past five LaLiga matches.

"Everyone should remain calm with Griezmann since the goals will come," the Atleti coach said in his press conference of his star man.

"It was the kind of game where the team that makes a mistake loses.

"We controlled the game, while they defended, but we could have created more clear-cut chances.

"In the end, both goalkeepers were important."

The Argentine was not, however, critical of the style of Quique Sanchez Flores' team, pointing out that Los Rojiblancos have often played that way.

"They played a good defensive game and we ourselves have sometimes played that way and have won playing as Espanyol did," he explained.
