Atletico Madrid sports chief Jesus Garcia Pitarch says Benfica have an option to sign permanently Jose Antonio Reyes.

"He is an extremely talented player, but sometimes the performance and talent are not at the same speed," said Reyes.

"He has done very well and have played a good performance. Reyes also is happy and becoming an idol at Benfica. There is an option to buy, but Benfica have done nothing."
