Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone was delighted with Alvaro Morata after his two goals in victory over Real Sociedad.
Morata scored both goals in a 2-0 win at Real Sociedad on Sunday night.
"When we sign a player we always envision his best side, some adapt faster than others," said Simeone.
"More than for his goals, I am happy for the work he is putting and for how he has adapted to the team.
"Those who have hierarchy take less time to adapt, he is not a kid and he meets the conditions we set for him."
At the other end of the pitch, Simeone seemed equally pleased with his Uruguayan powerhouses at the heart of the defence.
"We have four of the best centre-backs in the world," he stated.
"We know about (Diego) Godin our whole lives and Jose (Gimenez) is playing regularly and is important from dead balls.
"With the work put in by all the players, we must continue improving because that is what makes us stronger."
