Atletico Madrid attacker Saul Niguez was delighted with their 2-0 defeat of Athletic Bilbao on Saturday.

Fans were behind the side from before kick-off, making up for the recent whistles aimed at Koke by singing his name during the warm-up.

"I'm very happy with how the game was played," he said.

"We played practically from the start and we needed that.

"The fans helped a lot today, and that helps you to be plugged in from the beginning."
