Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann admits he has hopes of winning the Ballon d'Or.

The France World Cup winner is among the nominees for the gong.

He told Marca: "We'll see what happens. I can only be grateful that they think of myself for this trophy, but without the collective we cannot aspire to anything, let alone the Ballon d'Or.

"It would be a dream to win it, it's clear.

"It would be a good thing if it was a Frenchman. If it's me, even better. But if it's a Frenchman who wins, I'll be just as proud."
