Atletico Madrid attacker Griezmann hails hero Zidane: Crazy! Amazing!

Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann has again spoken of his admiration for Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane.

Griezmann penned new terms with Atletico yesterday to 2022.

And on Zidane, he told JDD: "I was only 7 years old, but Zinédine Zidane's two goals in the World Cup final made a difference. Especially because we had participated as a family in the collective euphoria, with blows of Klaxon on the quays of Saône, in Mâcon.

"In my eyes, his most accomplished match in Bleu is in the quarterfinals of the 2006 World Cup against Brazil. Crazy. Passing, dribbling, vision, decisive pass to Thierry Henry: he did everything, it was magic.

"What he realizes today as coach of Real Madrid is also very strong, especially the way he manages to manage the playing time of the reserves. Cristiano Ronaldo finished the season at his best with his coaching."
