Atletico Madrid ace Saul Niguez admits he grew up basing his game on Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard.

Saul also says it was dream come true when Fernando Torres returned to the club.

He said, "With Torres at Atleti I started to love Gerrard and I thought I wanted to look like him.

"That's why I work hard, up and back, arriving on the second line ... I think Steven had it all, he was super complete and I've I tried to work to look like him.

"Playing with Torres is the best thing that ever happened to me."
