Atletico Junior winger Luis Fernando Diaz is interesting Cardiff City.

The 22 year-old currently plies his trade for Colombian side Atletico Junior, and reportedly turned down a move to Argentine giants River Plate back in January.

Asked about the Bluebirds links, agent Carlos Van Strahalen said: "There is an interest, like that of other clubs that came to watch the game yesterday."

Van Strahalen did not confirm the identities of the other teams believed to be showing an interest, but said they came from "Germany, Mexico, the United States and England".

Diaz was a key part of Junior's march to the Colombian title last season, netting 11 goals in 25 games, and also made his full international debut for Colombia back in September, replacing Juan Cuadrado in a 0-0 draw against the United States.
