Atlanta United are pricing Miguel Almiron out of a move to Newcastle United.

The Mirror says Newcastle could be about to admit defeat in their pursuit of Almiron.

The Paraguayan has been linked with a move to Newcastle for some time amid reports a £15m deal had been struck.

But Atlanta are looking for closer to £30m for the player and Rafa Benitez does not have the funds to pay that sum.

West Ham and Everton have also been mentioned as potential suitors for Almiron.
