Athletic Bilbao midfielder Dani Garcia admits he went too far with his treatment of Vinicius Jr when facing Real Madrid this season.

Garcia concedes he pushed the envelope by taunting and provoking the Real star.

He said, "The subject is tiring me, but in the summer I spoke calmly with him, since we saw eachother (on holiday), and I think that at one point I also had some overexcitement and I also went on provoking him.

"But I think that this weekend they (Real Mallorca) have also did too much, although he also sometimes makes gestures that he should not do, but then I think he also provokes himself too much, both by him and by us.

"Honestly, the subject is tiring me but I don't think he's comfortable either, although I don't know him, but well, in the end it has been seen that when you take a little out of the game, he loses a bit too, because he gets hot and he doesn't do it. Well, honestly, that's what I think."
