Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Jokin Ezkieta has been released from his contract.
The goalkeeper from Navarre thus ends his time at the red-and-white club, which he joined in the 2019/20 season from FC Barcelona. The Club reserves a right of recall on the player.
Ezkieta has spent three seasons in the first team dynamic, although the first of them he made 26 appearances for Bilbao Athletic, with whom he even played in the promotion phase. It was that same year when he made his debut as a Lion, in a cup tie against CD Tenerife in which he was forced to come on in the fifth minute due to a sending off and would end up being decisive in the penalty shoot-out.
In the second season, he took part in the cup against UD Ibiza and CD Alcoyano, and in a league match in Elche. They were his last official minutes as a red-and-white player.
