Athletic Bilbao fans split amid Negreira taunts towards Barcelona players

Athletic Bilbao fans were split as barracking erupted against Barcelona players during defeat on Sunday.

Marca reports the Negreira case and its judiciary proceedings are something that will accompany Barcelona on their travels until the end of the current league season at least.

On Sunday a large part of the Estadio San Mames stands showed that they were fed up with the situation and at various points during Athletic Club's clash with Los Cules chanted "a Segunda oe, a Segunda oe" due to the seriousness of the issue.

The initiative started in the Grada de Animacion and a large section of the home support followed suit.

However, not all the fans congregated in the stadium took part in the chanting.

While it was being sung, there were also whistles towards those who promoted the chants of "a Segunda oe, a Segunda oe".

The chant went further than the proposal to throw 'money' with Barcelona colors and the word "mafia" printed on them in the 30th minute.

In a stadium with a capacity of around 50,000 spectators, the throwing of fake money was inconsequential and only a few dozen reached the vicinity of the pitch.

As was the case with the chants, a large part of the pitch was against it with whistles while the bills were being thrown.
