Athletic Bilbao coach Ernesto Valverde is coy over talk of taking the Barcelona job.

Valverde, off contract in June, is being linked with Barca.

In the pre-match chat before Athletic Bilbao face Espanyol, Valverde said: “First I will talk to the president to tell him it, then I will speak before the media."

And asked if he would be ending his time at Athletic, he replied with a smile: “It's possible, you never know."

Asked about Mauricio Pochettino's comments about never coaching Barcelona because he is an Espanyol fan, Valverde gave Barcelona a little wink. He was a former Espanyol player and coach himself, but said: “I have no comment about that."
