Atalanta have dismissed reports linking them with Juventus striker Amauri.

Amauri is eager to find a new club in January.

"It's absolutely not true," Atalanta technical director Pierpaolo Marino told TMW.

"We don't need Amauri, he's not a player for Atalanta. We are happy with German Denis, Simone Tiribocchi, Manolo Gabbiadini and Guido Marilungo.

"What has Amauri got to do with the project we have here? I really don't know who would benefit from spreading this rumour."
