Atalanta president Antonio Percassi is backing coach Gian Piero Gasperini and his players to give the city something to smile about at Valencia.
After their 4-1 win at San Siro last month, La Dea travel to Spain to protect their lead and advance to the quarter-finals of the Champions League. Percassi promises a good night for the Bergamaschi.
“In this situation there is no need to talk about football," he told L'Eco di Bergamo.
“But I'm sure that tomorrow night the mister and the team will do everything they can to give our fans and all the players from Bergamo a moment of serenity.
“It's a delicate time, but respecting the provisions of the authorities, we will emerge stronger."
