Atalanta president Antonio Percassi has declared coach Gian Piero Gasperini has signed a new contract.

Percassi made the announcement on the eve of their Champions League trip to Liverpool.

“We have already extended his contract," Percassi told Sky Italia on Monday.

“He has signed a contract until 2023.

“It happened at the end of last season, we've already extended our agreement. The link between the manager and the club becomes even stronger."
