Atalanta assistant coach Tullio Gritti admits they're delighted for matchwinner Moustapha Cisse after victory over Bologna.
A February signing from Italy's eighth division, former refugee Cisse confirmed his potential as he scored on debut on Sunday.
Gritti said: “This, in addition to the great football qualities, is an exceptional guy. He showed up in Bergamo, he came with us to train, he has an amazing education, although we know that life hasn't been easy until now.
"But he is a wonderful person who has a great desire to learn, he has excellent qualities, he has already scored a champion's goal. It could have been (Luis) Muriel who scored that goal there, with a stop and a shot. The genius belongs to the coach who throws him on.
"It is the history of Atalanta, in the youth sector we have always believed in it, then for 6-7 years the President has chosen a coach like Gasperini ... He has no problem throwing them in if he sees quality, value and the right mentality. It is always said that there are no young people, but then you have to have the courage to let them play. We have them."
