Atalanta want to kickoff talks with Chelsea to sign permanently Mario Pasalic.

The young midfielder is in his second season on-loan with the Oribici, contributing to their Champions League qualification this term.

Atalanta's board have seen enough and want to bring forward June plans to buy Pasalic outright, says Tuttosport.

Pasalic's loan deal carries a €15m option and Atalanta plan to trigger it in January.

With Atalanta, Pasalic, 24, has played 60 matches in which he's scored 12 goals and made 9 assists.
