Atalanta are making a move for Liverpool striker Takumi Minamino.

Up for sale at Liverpool for a price of €17m, Minamino is the subject of talks with AS Monaco.

However, La Gazzetta dello Sport says Atalanta are also making their move this week.

Minamino wage demands are proving a stumbling block, though the board would be willing to make a special effort if he agrees to a move to Bergamo.

The Japan international is demanding €2.7m-a-year from his next club.
