Tottenham have agreed personal terms with Atalanta defender Christian Romero.
That is according to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, with the source stating the player is ready to transfer to the London club.
Now Spurs must handle the small matter of agreeing a fee with Atalanta.
They do have an agreement to sign Pierluigi Collini from the Italian outfit, but any deal for Romero is thought to be entirely separate.
Romano claims that the 23-year-old has agreed personal terms with Spurs, but the Argentine has to wait until the two clubs have a total agreement before he can travel for his medical.
Spurs director of football Fabio Paratici is working hard to conclude the deal.
