Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini satisfied with Bologna draw

Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini was satisfied with their 0-0 draw against Bologna.

La Dea were held by Sinisa Mihajlovic's side in their first home game of the season.

“The result is 0-0, but we are satisfied with our performance. These are two points that we miss heavily, but we were not able to score and we accept the draw," Gasperini told DAZN.

“We had a remarkable superiority, especially in the second half. Even in the first half, we had opportunities. Surely we were also affected by the conditions of the field that strangely was not at its best.

“We really created a lot of opportunities, we constantly pressed high up the pitch, but we could not score.

“[Luis] Muriel played a good game, he lacked the decisive finish, but he had many shots on target. The field didn't help him. Sometimes he is more clinical. He didn't express himself as he usually does.

“Everybody gave their all, trying to push with great strength. Unfortunately, it becomes difficult when you don't break the deadlock.

“Those who saw the game can understand that sometimes in football you can not win, but the team did everything to do it."
