ASV Dronten have missed out on a cash windfall from Ajax's sale of Hakim Ziyech to Chelsea.
Chelsea paid €40m for the midfielder, with a percentage of the fee also being distributed to clubs which had him from the age if 12. Ziyech left Dronten for Heerenveen at 11 years of age.
Jan Bollemaat, the chairman of ASV Dronten, told Voetbal International: "Heerenveen has received a nice amount for Ziyech. I would think it would be fair if they also paid us something out of solidarity.
“They are scouting at an increasingly younger age, which means that amateur clubs in the future are less likely to share a bit. Amateur clubs are the largest breeding ground for talent in the Netherlands, but despite the growing transfer market, they do not benefit.
"In this way we are increasingly wondering what the use is of a collaboration with a professional club."
