Aston Villa are wrapping up the signing of Southampton defender Matt Targett.
The Mirror says Villa have moved to secure the signing of Southampton's Targett for £14m, rising to £17m with add-ons.
The left-back played against Villa in the play-off final in 2018 when Fulham beat Steve Bruce's side 1-0. However, he was sent back to St Mary's last season and continued his development.
Several clubs were interested in securing the 23-year-old's signature and Villa have made the breakthrough.
England bosses were keen for the former Under-21 international to pursue regular football in the Premier League and that was a factor in the defender's thinking when he opted to move to Villa Park.
