Aston Villa's Scott Sinclair believes the signing of Adama Traore is a massive coup for the club.
The 19-year-old Spanish forward joined the Villans from Barcelona for £7million last week and Sinclair has welcomed the arrival of the highly-rated youngster.
Sinclair feels Traore could have chosen a number of other clubs but is thrilled he opted to make his way to Villa Park.
"To sign a player from Barcelona just shows the club is moving forward," said Sinclair who is used to these types of signings from his time at Manchester City.
"I'm sure Adama had many other options to go elsewhere.
"But it's great for Aston Villa Football Club that we can attract and sign that quality of player."
Trader played a full 90 minuted for Villa's U21 side during the week but is unlikely to feature for Tim Sherwood's senior side in this weekend's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
