Aston Villa remain in the hunt for Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
The Birmingham Mail says Phillips enjoyed an excellent campaign for Leeds last time out as the Whites narrowly missed out on automatic promotion to Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United.
The 23-year-old was named in the EFL Championship team of the year alongside Villa's Jack Grealish, while he also collected the Yorkshire Evening Post's player of the year award.
Phillips has emerged as a target for Villa - but Leeds aren't keen to deal with Marcelo Bielsa desperate to hang onto his talismanic midfielder.
It's been reported that Leeds have slapped a £30m price tag on Phillips, who has played 141 times for his hometown club since making his debut in a 4-3 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2015.
Villa hope to kickoff negotiations with an opening £20m offer.
