Aston Villa are ready to pounce for Galatasaray outcast Steven Nzonzi.

The Mirror says Villa are trying to tempt Nzonzi back to the Premier League after his bust-up in Turkey.

Former Stoke midfielder Nzonzi is out on loan from Roma at Galatasaray who have suspended him after a training ground row last month.

The French international, 31, is now open to returning to English football.

The star, who was part of France's 2018 World Cup winning squad, is ready to cancel his loan in Turkey this month.

Struggling Villa, thumped 6-1 on Sunday by Manchester City , have accepted they now need Premier League experience to beat the drop.
