Aston Villa have sent a stern message to Celtic regarding the transfer fee of Scott Sinclair.
According to the Daily Mail, the West Midlands club have placed a £6million price tag on the 27-year-old winger who is a target for the Scottish giants.
It is believed that the Bhoys made an initial bid of £2m plus add-ons but relegated Villa have a much higher valuation of the former Swansea City star.
New Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers enjoyed a successful stint working with Sinclair in south Wales and is eager to reunite with him at Parkhead, indicating that perhaps a new and improved proposal is on the agenda of the Scottish champions.
