Aston Villa have lodged an offer for Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton.

The Villains are keen to add another shot-stopper to their ranks as they look to avoid relegation next season.

Heaton recently rejected an extension offer from the Clarets and could be keen on a move.

The Sunsays Villa have launched an £7m bid for the England international.

The 33-year-old has 12 months remaining on his current Burnley contract.
