Aston Villa have tabled a new contract offer to Jack Grealish.
The Daily Mail says Villa have offered Grealish a new contract, with the club's billionaire owner Nassef Sawiris vowing to have it signed, sealed and delivered by the end of next month.
Villa managed to keep hold of Grealish after Tottenham refused to budge on their valuation of the player and are now planning to secure his long-term future by offering him a new bumper contract.
Villa boss Steve Bruce said: "The owner's personally involved, along with myself, when it comes to transfers and contracts.
"We are in talks with Jack now and I hope it can progress — in fact it will progress. Obviously it is difficult now because we haven't got a CEO to do those discussions.
"But the owner, we have learned very quickly, what he says goes.
"When he says by the end of the month we hope to have an agreement with Jack, I believe him. He's really rolled his sleeves up and is actively taking a part in running things, which is good news for everyone."
